President

One night President Obama and his wife, Michelle, decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn’t too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the President’s secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner. Following this conversation President Obama asked

“Michelle, why was he so interested in talking to you?” She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, “So if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant”, to which Michelle responded, “No, if I had married him, he would now be the President.”

Ghost Town

Priyapat Park, Ukraine..The park was completed and scheduled for a grand opening just a few short weeks before the disaster at Chernobyl in 1986. The park has been left abandoned ever since the evacuations. The gloomy atmosphere of the park reminds us of the horror that was Chernobyl and serves as an eerie anomaly of chance.

Under the sea

This is the Green Lake, situated in Tragoess, Styria, Austria. The lake sits at the foot of the snow capped Hochschwab mountains.

The lake looks unusual, in that it looks like an underwater park. That is because it is!

In the wintertime, the lake is almost nonexistent and the area is used as a park, which is a favourite among hikers.

In the springtime however, the ice and snow on the mountains melts, and this melt-water fills the basin below. The park is filled with this ice cold, almost crystal clear water. The lake looks green in colour due to the foliage beneath.

The water levels rise from about one or two metres deep in the winter to as much as 10 metres in the late spring and early summer.
The waters are at their highest in June when it becomes a mecca for divers keen to explore the rare phenomenon, before the waters recede at the end of July.

This is inspirational speaker Nick Vujuchic who was born without limbs. As a child one of his main regrets was that he’d never be able to hold his wife, it’s lovely to see he’s overcome this and even more beautiful to see living proof that there is someone for everyone…long live love
